Our Story
Every meaningful journey has a beginning. This one started
on a street corner in Vancouver, Canada, in 2007.
Jay was visiting Vancouver for a work conference while Sarka was living there. Both were on their way to the same bar to hear live music when their paths crossed at the corner of Davie Street and Hamilton Street.
That unexpected meeting became the beginning of a lifelong journey together.
Years later, they dreamed of creating something that inspired people through simple, meaningful reminders. They printed a small collection of shirts in 2018, but the timing wasn't right. As the years unfolded, they lived around the world, built careers, and raised a family,
while the idea for Davie & Hamilton quietly stayed with them.
Today, Davie & Hamilton has become a reality. Every design is thoughtfully created to serve as a simple reminder of what matters most. Because sometimes, a few simple words can make all the difference.
